Many people think memorizing the Quran is only possible for children or madrasa students. But since 2020, students from different ages and professions have been memorizing the Quran online through our Hifz system. Our students include children, university students, professionals, teachers, and even senior citizens. Some students are memorizing a few verses daily, while others are progressing according to their own ability and schedule.

At KQSL, we believe even partial memorization is valuable. Every sincere effort toward the Quran matters in the sight of Allah. The Hifz system is designed to be flexible and practical. আপনি কি প্রধানমন্ত্রী হতে চান?

আমি হয়তো রাজি হতাম না। কারণ খুব সহজ—আমি জানি, এই মুহূর্তে সেই দায়িত্ব পালন করার যোগ্যতা আমার নেই। একটা বড় পদ পাওয়া আর সেই পদের দায়িত্ব বহন করার যোগ্য হওয়া এক বিষয় নয়।

এই কথাটা আমি নিজের কাজের মধ্যেই বারবার বুঝি। কিছুদিন আগে আমাদের একটি সার্ভার নিয়ে সমস্যা হচ্ছিল। WordPress-এর কিছু আপডেটের পর সার্ভার ক্র্যাশ করছিল। প্রথমে প্লাগইনের সমস্যা বের করলাম, এরপর PHP version update করতে গিয়ে আবার সমস্যা। অনেক খোঁজাখুঁজির পর ছোট ছোট configuration ও file-level সমস্যাগুলো শনাক্ত করা গেল। আমি Computer Engineering background-এর না হলে হয়তো পুরো বিষয়টাই অন্যদের ওপর ছেড়ে দিয়ে অপেক্ষা করতে হতো। কিন্তু তখন আমার মাথায় আবারও একই কথাই এসেছে—আপনি যখন একটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের দায়িত্বে থাকবেন, তখন অন্তত সেই প্রতিষ্ঠানের গুরুত্বপূর্ণ বিষয়গুলো বোঝার সক্ষমতা আপনার থাকতে হবে।

তার মানে এই নয় যে একজন CEO-কে programmer, researcher, lawyer, accountant—সবকিছুই হতে হবে। সেটা সম্ভবও নয়। বরং তাকে বুঝতে হবে কোথায় তার নিজের জ্ঞান প্রয়োজন, কোথায় expert-এর প্রয়োজন, আর কোথায় সিদ্ধান্ত নেওয়ার আগে আরও শেখা প্রয়োজন।

আমি একই বিষয় শিক্ষা ও গবেষণার ক্ষেত্রেও দেখি। কোনো research-based program পরিচালনা করতে হলে শুধু management জানলেই হয় না। Research কীভাবে হয়, data কীভাবে ব্যবহার হয়, analytical thinking কী, evidence কীভাবে evaluate করতে হয়—এসব অন্তত এমন পর্যায়ে বুঝতে হয়, যেন নিজের team-এর কাজের quality বিচার করা যায় এবং প্রয়োজনের সময় সঠিক প্রশ্নটা করা যায়।

আইনের ক্ষেত্রেও আমার চিন্তাটা একই। একটি Law School বা Law Firm তৈরি করার পরিকল্পনা করলেই তো আমি আইন বুঝে গেলাম না। বরং দায়িত্বটা যত বড় হবে, আমার শেখার প্রয়োজনও তত বাড়বে। একজন সাধারণ শিক্ষার্থী পরীক্ষার জন্য যতটুকু পড়ে, একটি প্রতিষ্ঠান পরিচালনা করতে চাইলে হয়তো তার চেয়েও অনেক বেশি জানতে হবে—মূল syllabus-এর বাইরে Human Rights Law, Cyber Law কিংবা প্রতিষ্ঠানের কাজের সঙ্গে সম্পর্কিত আরও অনেক ক্ষেত্র বুঝতে হবে। কারণ ভবিষ্যতে যখন একজন মানুষ আপনার প্রতিষ্ঠানের কাছে বাস্তব সমস্যা নিয়ে আসবে, তখন শুধু আপনার designation তাকে সাহায্য করবে না; আপনার knowledge, judgment এবং team-কে সঠিকভাবে পরিচালনা করার ক্ষমতাই কাজে আসবে।

আমাদের কাজের আরেকটি জায়গায় বিষয়টা খুব স্পষ্টভাবে দেখি। বিদেশে পড়াশোনা করা শিক্ষার্থীদের research, writing বা academic support দিতে গেলে শুধু সুন্দর English লিখতে জানলেই হয় না। কেন একটি paper descriptive হয়ে যাচ্ছে, কোথায় analytical depth দরকার, কোথায় evidence বা data দুর্বল—এগুলো বুঝতে হয়। কোনো কাজ ভালো ফল করলে যেমন আনন্দ হয়, তেমনি প্রত্যাশার চেয়ে কম ফল করলে আমি জানতে চাই—কেন কম হলো? কোথায় gap ছিল? কীভাবে আরও ভালো করা যেত? এই প্রশ্নগুলো করার জন্যও সংশ্লিষ্ট কাজটা বুঝতে হয়।

তবে আমি সবকিছু জানি না, এবং সেটাই স্বাভাবিক। আমাদের এমন অনেক business sector আছে যেখানে আমার technical knowledge খুব সীমিত। সেখানে আমি সংশ্লিষ্ট মানুষকে দায়িত্ব দিই। কারণ leadership-এর আরেকটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ যোগ্যতা হলো—আপনি কোথায় ভালো, কোথায় দুর্বল এবং কোথায় অন্য একজন মানুষ আপনার চেয়ে ভালো সিদ্ধান্ত নিতে পারবেন—এটা জানা।

তাই কেউ আপনাকে বড় কোনো পদ অফার করলেই সেই পদ গ্রহণ করতে হবে—আমি এমনটা মনে করি না। আগে নিজেকে প্রশ্ন করা দরকার: আমি কি শুধু পদটা চাই, নাকি এই পদের দায়িত্বটাও বহন করতে পারব?

কোনো position hold করার আগে সেই position-এর জন্য নিজেকে তৈরি করতে হয়। আর সেই যোগ্যতা একদিনে আসে না। অনেক পড়তে হয়, অনেক কাজ করতে হয়, ভুল করতে হয়, সমস্যার মধ্যে পড়তে হয়, আবার সেখান থেকে শিখতে হয়।

পদ অর্জন করা হয়তো কখনো কখনো সহজ হতে পারে। কিন্তু সেই পদের যোগ্য হয়ে ওঠা—সেটাই আসল কাজ।

আপনার কী মনে হয়—সুযোগ আগে, নাকি যোগ্যতা আগে?
